Unseen Marginalia

literary samizdat | orphic dispatches from an undisclosed location | archival quality onion-skin paper

About | Literary grimoire | Pynchon | Shakespeare | Burroughs | The Wall

Master of Hell, would you like to exchange Hells with me for a moment?

I shall stroll easy in yours, and you — in the fires over there...

It will not diminish, master, your eternal, marble glory,

You are still Alighieri, your hell — still an allegory.

Back by popular demand. Do you believe in miracles? I certainly don't, and that's why this website is here. I will die atop a pile of useless paper, and this will salvage it -- not above its curse of uselessness but above paperness. Physicality is making a cultural comeback as the mark of permanence; this graveyard awaits for the inevitable return to the digital. In the event of a solar flare emergency, it will be routers and hard drives first.

I am not an accelerationist, so therefore I am bound by words. I am going to celebrate by showing you a few of them.
